I am extremely disappointed with China Gourmet today. The food is generally pretty good and the customer service has always been lacking but TODAY is the worse. They're not timely, they're rude and they hang up on you when you need to call back to check status, location of your PAID order because it wasn't there when they said it would be. If you are on a schedule or simply expect to be treated with honesty, respect and kindness especially when you're paying for the service/food, don't use China Gourmet!
My first time going to this place was great ! The staff were very friendly and nice to me and ordering was very easy. The sweet and sour pork was hot crisp and mildly sweet without the sauce. Also this place makes the absolute best boneless spare ribs I have had ! If you are heading up to Covington and enjoy Chinese takeout definitely check this place out it's worth it.
This place has a very nice gourmet Chinese restaurant I give you 5 Stars shrimp fried rice always have nice big shrimps not as delicious egg rolls at affordable prices the most delicious food ASL Love It
